The deep red Hibiscus live in my garden and I love seeing them come alive every summer. The purple leaves are even a sight to behold. The tiny butterfly reminds me of all the awesome butterflies I see every year. Remember to spot the tiny hummingbird hiding in the leaves.

This painting features a lively bouquet of pink and white lilies nestled in a deep blue vase—my favorite part? The vase shines with a touch of bronze foil, adding just the right hint of sparkle. The background blends soft pastel tones with little surprises like butterflies and delicate brushstrokes, making the whole scene feel light and layered. The love of red and magenta are obvious but gold is right there with diamonds! Butterflies are abundant this summer and what a relief they are surviving. I do what I can to keep them happy and this piece celebrates my love for them and flowers, the quiet moments where nature's beauty feels like a personal gift.
I had a lot of fun layering the rich colors on the butterfly's wings and adding a touch of gold foil to the leaves. The shimmering details always feel like a tiny surprise, and speaking of surprise be sure to look for my trademark, the tiny hummingbird!

I truly enjoyed painting from a beautiful rose bouquet in Sarasota, FL. This workshop was led by Dimitra Milan, my mentor! I experienced different flowers than I have in my garden. If you look closely, a tiny butterfly rests just above the flowers, along with my trademark of the tiny hummingbird, adding delicate hints of whimsy.

I played around with texture using modeling paste to give the petals a thick, almost sculptural feel, and adding sand to the vase for an unexpected twist. The tiny yellow duckling carries a bit of puffy powder for extra fluff. This piece is full of my love of texture and feels like pure joy and color. Remember to look for my trademark!

This unique plant attracted me as it appears to swirl through the textured petals like a floral dance happening beneath waves of turquoise and teal. The colors are the star of the show and I captured the vibrant spirit of a cabbage plant in its' full glory but with a fresh, abstract twist. A beautiful garden scene that invites you to look closer and get lost in the layers. I had to plant some in the garden beside my art studio/gallery and love them!
