My Creative Process

Why? Simply put, I began painting to eliminate depression after losing my husband to cancer and now I LOVE it. I am able to express my love for nature through color and texture and share with the world. Now you can explore the world of art at Diana Budler Art LLC. My painting process begins with finding a source of inspiration, which often comes from nature, personal experiences, or emotions I wish to express. The journey involves researching and gathering references, followed by sketching ideas.

I focus on composition and my color palette of vivid crimson red, sky blue or forest green, and bright lemon yellow, plus luminous paints, foil, gloss gel, modeling and molding paste to bring my vision to life. I am inspired by the beauty of the world around me and the narrative I want to convey. Painting allows me to communicate my thoughts in a visual form, making it a profoundly fulfilling experience.

About Diana Budler

The Full Story

Diana Budler, a native of Nebraska, has always had a passion for the arts, beginning her musical journey with playing the flute at age 10 and singing in church choir for 30 years. After facing profound personal loss, she found solace and a new direction in life through painting, earning degrees in oil and drawing portraits from the Rebecca Tillman Young Institute and earning her Art Degree with The Milan Art Institute Mastery Program. Today, Diana is a professional whimsical, abstract, expressionistic artist, sharing her vibrant perspective of the world through her vivid captivating art. Her mission is to evoke emotions in others to experience the beauty of life through her colorful creations.

Diana’s future holds not only more grandchildren to teach painting to, but her continued growth in her painting including new series as she works full-time painting. She plans to expand her art classes involving senior centers, nursing homes, children of all ages, enhanced with special guest artists, and increase exposure to enable her art to be seen world-wide.
