My Art Studio/gallery in Branson West, MO

Diana Budler

I am Diana Budler, professional artist in Branson West, Missouri. I paint colorful, expressive pieces where nature and realism meet imagination. Working in oils and mixed media, I combine recognizable subjects with expressive color, soft atmosphere, and a touch of whimsy. I have always loved colors which matches my personality because I'm energetic, funny, and love life.

I am drawn to moments of tenderness, trust, and wonder - a woman embracing an animal, or an unexpected friendship. Through each painting, I hope to bring a little of that feeling into your home.

As a graduate of the Milan Art Institute and specialized portrait courses, I continue to explore the light, detail, and emotion that bring a painting to life through continuing education. I love learning in art workshops in Sarasota, FL, art retreats in Florence, Italy, and more! My studio is also a place where I welcome others to enjoy painting, learn something new, and spend time creating together.

Thank you for being here. I hope you find a painting that feels like it belongs in your life.

Why Do "I" Paint?

My Creative Process

Why? Simply put, I began painting to eliminate depression after losing my father, my mother and then my husband to cancer and now I LOVE it. I am able to express my love for nature through color and texture and share with the world. Now you can explore the world of art at Diana Budler Art LLC. Immerse yourself in creativity and inspiration. I love sharing my love for painting in my painting classes where you will learn various techniques and styles, unleash your artistic potential and express yourself through colors and shapes. Join us and be part of a vibrant community passionate about art while healing. Painting is the best therapy for all ailments, memory loss, arthritis, balance issues, high blood pressure, Dementia, depression, it's FUN, and more. Contact me to schedule.

My painting process begins with finding a source of inspiration, which often comes from nature, personal experiences, or emotions I wish to express. The journey involves researching and gathering references, followed by sketching ideas. I use photos and combine them using Pixelmator, adjusting colors and moving things around until it speaks to me. Printing a copy to use as a source and I am off!

I focus on composition and my color palette of vivid crimson red, sky blue or forest green, and bright lemon yellow, plus luminous paints, foil, gloss gel, lots of other mixed media, modeling and molding paste to bring my vision to life. I am inspired by the beauty of the world around me and the narrative I want to convey. Painting allows me to communicate my thoughts in a visual form, making it a profoundly fulfilling experience.
