Series - "Nature's Goddesses

This captures a peaceful moment - a woman with closed eyes, lost in a gentle breeze that plays with her flowing hair, dotted with flowers and feathers. I enjoyed weaving in the rich orange roses, which really stand out and give the entire scene a unique vibrant feel. Butterflies flutter around for a dreamy and fresh feel. I truly all the beauty in this world and hope it brings you a touch of calm and joy to your day.

The woman in this piece represents how so many females love putting flowers into their hair and enjoying the quiet reflection. I enjoyed merging her torso seamlessly with the soft pastels and bright red butterflies to create a peaceful, dreamlike scene that feels both fresh and timeless.

The calm, serene woman is surrounded by a wild and colorful garden of flowers. This particularly piece was fun as I focused on the deep violet flowers by using cold wax combined with the paint - they really bring a unique mood to the entire scene. This piece sprang from my love of beauty and peaceful moments while in my own flower gardens.  I hope this brings to you a little calm and color into your day.

I had such an enjoyable time learning and experimenting with Gold shimmer paint, cold wax and more, you won't believe the texture. The bold turquoise flowers were my first chance to use the fabulous Milan Vivid oil paints which I use on every painting now. This photo does not do this piece justice. I added more gold accents in the flowers for a whimsical feel. I know this will bring you a little calm and shine into your day.
