​This bear cub was painted in the exact style of Van Gogh where he used directional brushwork working with colors directly onto the canvas, no pre-mixing, simply layering! He is ready to explore his forest world. This was so much fun and I love how he turned out. I hope he brings a little wanderlush and color to your day.

This piece began as a project to utilize inks and ended up being a fabulous piece! This happens a lot when you hope your piece turns out and then are totally surprised! I enjoyed playing with bright colors and discovered how realism and abstraction can come together to create something lively and fresh. This piece of art was fun and I hope you enjoy it too. Although this is not at first glance what you would consider putting in a kids' room, you can be a kid no matter your age!

My grandsons love dinosaurs so grandma had to paint them one of their favorites. Of course, those of us who know who the real Mr. T is will laugh but for the children, this is what I will call him. I know your children will enjoy him as much as I enjoyed painting him.
