One of my favorite 'spring' birds is the arrival of the American Goldfinch. His bright yellow plumage with his black and white markings makes him unique. Creating this piece was a joy as he is so delightful to watch. I hope he brings a bit of that same brightness into your day.

This painting captures a cardinal mid-flight. I had a blast bringing out all the reds, maroon, pinks, browns and blacks in the feathers with the floating cherry blossoms floating around to give it that fresh spring vibe. There's something special about spotting a cardinal in flight,and that rare and lovely moment inspired this piece. I hope it brings you a burst of springtime joy and freedom every day.
