One of my favorite 'spring' birds is the arrival of the American Goldfinch. His bright yellow plumage with his black and white markings makes him unique. Creating this piece was a joy as he is so delightful to watch. I hope he brings a bit of that same brightness into your day.

I had a blast bringing out all the reds, maroon, pinks, browns and blacks in the feathers with the floating cherry blossoms floating around to give it that fresh spring vibe.
